**IMPORTANT CLASS REUNION MESSAGE**

Dear Fellow 85ers:

I hope you and yours are well. In light of the serious situation with Covid-19, the Reunion Committee has decided that it is best for us to cancel our 35th reunion this July. We have received only 6 registrations thus far, and we have deadlines approaching to pay our band, choose our menu and tell the caterer a firm number of attendees for dinner. Unfortunately, we do not believe that the current crisis will enable us to meet these deadlines, even if people are allowed to congregate in large groups by our reunion date. Further, many of us are facing personal, professional and financial uncertainties, so it sadly makes sense on many levels to cancel the reunion at this point.

Of course, we will continue to monitor the situation closely, and we will actively look for an opportunity to reschedule next year, and/or to hold an informal get together later this year in conjunction with a Berries football or basketball game.

I realize this is disappointing news, but I want to personally thank everyone on the reunion committee for their efforts. The committee worked very hard to plan and organize a great reunion for everyone, and we share in your disappointment.

We look forward to getting together again in better days. In the meantime, the most important thing for all of us to do is to stay home and stay healthy. Be well, Berries!

Mark
